Question – What is “Detailing”?

In Short, It’s a thorough cleaning. Not just a wash with a bucket of water and soap. A basic Exterior detail “should consist of A wash (of course), simple bug and tar removal and a paint decontamination to get the everyday road grime or atmospheric fallout off.

How would we know if that process was in fact used?

Feel your paint!! prior to the detail feel your painrt, especially the fenders behind your tires and your tailgate, rear window(if you have a hatch). These areas will feel rough. If the exterior detail was performmmed, these areas will feel smooth (CLEAN).

How Much Does it cost?

I had to stop quoting prices, site unseen, simply because, roughly 75% of folks who want a detail, have never applied any form of protection to their exterior OR vaccuumed the interrior or trunk area. Which doesn’t sound like a big deal, BUT, if you own a vehicle for more than a year and have never looked under your seats, or forgot that you had spilled something in it, etc., it simply takes time and a level of skillset to get this stuff out. This also depends on what thecustomer wishes to acheive. If you want the exterior detailed, interior detailed or both AND to what extent. Most of my top teir detail customers, have commented that their car looks better than it did when they bought it.

Is there anything you can’t do?

YES, I cannot replace what isn’t there! If you have deep scratches in your paint, I will not be able to “BUFF IT OUT”.

Are you certified?

YES! Every Year I further my educcation to learn new processes and to keep up with technique. I received certificate as a Master Detailer in 2018. I am also Certified to apply 4 different Ceramic, graphene, Borphene and Borograph products that are top rated worldwide. My most recent Certification is rather rare, were I am one of only 100 shops WORLDWIDE, authorized to apply the most advanced formulated product that literally forms a molecular bond to your clearcoat.

Who are your competitors?

I dont feel that this industry has competitors! Please allow me to explain, in my case, I provide a different service for folks at a price that is very different than anyone doing what I Do. ( I am offering more for work for less money)

Whats next?

A Branded product line. I have been experimenting with different solutions and have finally met up with a chemist, to get formulate exactly what I want. I am still in the early stages BUT, expect to release a few products in the spring of 2025.
